Complaints
If something hasn’t gone the way it should, we want to hear about it.
How to raise a complaint
You can raise a complaint through our Contact page — select Complaint from the dropdown — or email us directly at hello@thecollectivebedsmk.org.uk.
What’s useful to include
It helps us if you can tell us:
- What happened, and when
- Who or what was involved, if relevant
- What you’d like to happen as a result, if you have something in mind
- The best way to reach you
What happens next
Someone from The Collective will read your complaint and consider it appropriately. As a small, developing organisation, we don’t yet have a formal staged complaints procedure with fixed timescales — our approach to handling complaints will develop alongside our wider governance as the organisation grows.
Complaint or safeguarding concern?
A complaint is about something not going the way it should — for example, a problem with how we’ve communicated, organised something, or delivered on what we said we would.
A safeguarding concern is about the safety, dignity or wellbeing of a person. If that’s what you need to raise, please go to our Safeguarding page instead — and if someone is in immediate danger or needs urgent help, contact the emergency services or another appropriate statutory service directly rather than waiting for a reply from us.
